Shelby County’s Kaitlyn Paschall hit a 3-run home run in the first inning to pace a 5-2 Ladycats’ victory over Homewood at the Montevallo tournament April 12.

Paschall finished the game 1-for-3 with the homer, three RBIs, and a run scored. Brianna Buie finished 1-for-1 with a stolen base and two runs scored.

Anna Morgan Couch pitched four innings and allowed two runs on five hits with four strikeouts in the win for Shelby County.
