Calera’s Kymber McGiboney delivered a hit in the eighth inning to score the game-winning run for the Lady Eagles’ 8-7 victory over Jemison April 8.

McGiboney brought home Shelby Clark on a single after Clark had led off the eighth with a double to take the 8-7 walk-off win.

McGiboney finished the game 3-for-5 with a triple, four RBIs and a run scored. Clark added a 3-for-4 effort with a double and three runs scored.

Emily Sanders pitched four innings in the win while allowing six runs on eight this with two strikeouts.
