The Vincent Yellow Jackets softball team held on to a 1-run lead in the seventh to take 9-8 victory over Montevallo March 26.

Vincent (9-8) took the lead in the sixth when Ashleigh McCloud brought home Ashlynn Melton to break a 6-6 tie.

Courtney Barber picked up the win for Vincent allowing three earned runs on 11 hits.

Destanie Howard led Vincent batting 3-for-4 with two RBIs. Jameia White went 3-for-4 with three runs scored.
