The Hope Christian Lady Eagles softball team took advantage of several Success Unlimited errors in a doubleheader sweep March 19.

Hope Christian scored 11 runs in the first inning on its way to a 28-3 victory in the first game of the doubleheader. L. Walker led the Lady Eagles batting 3-for-5 with a home run and eight RBIs. Kathleen Clark added a 3-for-5 performance with five RBIs.

Hope Christian scored 14 runs in the top of the fifth to take a 31-18 victory over Success Unlimited in game-two. Amanda Rowley led Hope batting 3-for-5 with a RBI. Sarah Birdsong added a 2-for-3 with two doubles and three RBIs. Walker went 2-for-2 with four RBIs. Clark finished 2-for-5 with a triple and three RBIs.

Claire Bartlett allowed one earned run on eight hits with nine strikeouts and four walks in the win for Hope Christian.
