Spain Park rallies past Briarwood

The Spain Park Jaguars baseball team rallied from a 2-0 deficit to take a 3-2 victory over the Briarwood Lions March 9.
The Jaguars (9-6) trailed after the Lions’ Wesley Hardin and Harrison Cain scored runs in the second inning. Spain Park plated a run in the fourth, fifth, and sixth innings to take the 3-2 victory.
Trey Hawker pitched a complete game for Spain Park while allowing two runs on nine hits with two strikeouts with two walks. Blythe Woods took the loss for Briarwood allowing a run on a hit in two innings.
Spain Park’s Tyler Wise and Mason Duke each went 1-for-3 with a RBI. Harrison Cain led Briarwood batting 2-for-3 with a RBI and a run scored.
The Jaguars began the day with a 4-0 loss to Enterprise.
Mason Duke took the loss for Spain Park allowing two runs on six hits with five strikeouts and three walks.
