The Oak Mountain Eagles lost to Stanhope Elmore and Tuscaloosa County in a three-team event March 9.

The Eagles (6-7) began the day with a 7-5 loss to Stanhope Elmore. Jacob Bowman took the loss allowing three earned runs on two hits with two strikeouts and two walks. Barrett Gossett led the Eagles’ offense batting 1-for-3 with a triple and two RBIs. Heath Quinn added a triple while batting 1-for-3 and Wesley Nail added a 2-for-3 effort.

Tuscaloosa County handed the Eagles a 6-2 loss in the second game. Corey Price took the loss allowing four earned runs on eight hits with four strikeouts. E.J. Alsbrooks led Oak Mountain batting 2-for-3. Connor O’Brien added a double while batting 1-for-3. Quinn finished 1-for-3 with an RBI.
