Blake Alexander Dudchock
Blake Alexander Dudchock, age 18, of Hoover, passed away on Sunday, March 3.
He was a member of Asbury United Methodist Church. He graduated from Spain Park High School in 2012 and was a freshman at Auburn University.
Blake had a passion for life. He loved the outdoors, surfing, his friends (especially 2PP), and basketball.
He is survived by his loving parents, Alex and Natalie Dudchock; his brothers, Davis and Russell Dudchock; his grandparents Dr. Bill and Carole Rogers; his great-grandmother, Ruth Pierce; his aunts and uncles, Julie Nolen, Nancy Brooks (Lare), Melissa Miles (Eddie), Donald Richard (Linda), Elizabeth Tucker (James), Trudy Lively (Ray) and George Michael (Pam); his cousins, Jeremy and Anna Carole Nolen, Hunter and Dean Brooks, Cameron and Reed Miles, Donna Rizzo (Joey), Cristi Wilson (Greg) and Ryan Dudchock, Kim Ballenger, Missy McCaleb and Matthew Tucker; Josh Lively (Amanda); Stephanie White (Mark), Chris, Jason and Stephen Dudchock; and a host of other family and friends.
Blake was born on May 18, 1994. He was predeceased by his grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. George Michael Dudchock.
Visitation will be held Wednesday, March 6 from 5-8 p.m. at Southern Heritage Funeral Home on Cahaba Valley Road, Pelham.
A celebration of Blake’s life will be held on Thursday, March 7, at 1 p.m. at Asbury United Methodist Church, with visitation available from 12-1pm. Burial will follow at Southern Heritage Cemetery.
