At Hoover High School and Spain Park High School, when some students have a tough time meeting standards and aren’t sure they’ll be able to graduate, they visit the schools’ graduation coaches.
At Hoover High School, that title belongs to LaTangelia Sanderson, who is working with a school that boasts a graduation rate of more than 90 percent. Despite that success, there are still students who need her coaching.
