The Coosa Valley Rebels girls’ basketball team defeated Springwood 56-42 Jan. 4.

Coosa Valley held Springwood to 16 points in the first half on their way to the victory.

Danielle Richardson led the Rebels with 28 points, 11 steals and three assists. Kaylan Rich added 24 points with 13 rebounds and five blocks. Terry Sprayberry accounted for 12 rebounds and three blocks.
