The Spain Park Lady Jags were held to just 11 points in the first half to fall to Hoover 66-41 in a non-area contest Dec. 21.

Spain Park (9-5) overcame the slow start by scoring 30 points in the second half, but it wasn’t enough to top the Lady Bucs.

Ashley Gaston led Spain Park with 15 points. Victoria Baldwin added 11 points and Denise Newton scored 10 points.

Sarah Mitchell led Hoover with 18 points.
