Carol Dean Collum, age 83, of Thorsby, passed away Dec. 10, 2012, at her home.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Ralph Eugene Collum; son, Billy Dan Collum; and daughters, Susan Lunsford and Kathy Collum.

Carol is survived by her sons, Ralph Collum Jr., Bobby Collum (Brenda) and Michael Collum (Misty), daughters, Debbie Tate (Philip) and Tammy Plier; five generations of grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation was held Dec. 12 from 6-8 p.m. at Rockco Funeral Home Montevallo. Funeral services were held Dec. 13 at 11 a.m. at Rockco Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Terry Avery officiating. Burial followed at Old Rock Springs Cemetery.
