The 2012 Shelby County basketball tournament will be held Dec. 15-21.

A total of 22 games will be played in the four-day event. Admission for each day of the tournament is $5.

First round games will be played at Calera High School on Dec. 15. The Pelham Lady Panthers will face the Vincent Yellow Jackets at noon in the first of four games to kickoff the tournament.

Consolation and semifinal games will be held on Dec. 21 at locations to be determined. For updated bracket information, see Shelbycountyreporter.com.

The final day of the tournament will feature the boys’ and girls’ championship finals to be held at University of Montevallo’s BankTrust Arena.

Saturday, Dec. 15
at Calera High School
Noon – Pelham vs Vincent (girls)
1:30 p.m. – Montevallo vs Chelsea (boys)
3 p.m. – Chelsea vs Westminster (girls)
4:30 p.m. – Vincent vs Westminster (boys)

 

Thursday, Dec. 20
at Oak Mountain High School
4:30 p.m. – Thompson vs Montevallo-Chelsea winner (boys)
6 p.m. – Oak Mountain vs Chelsea-Westminster winner (girls)
7:30 p.m. – Oak Mountain vs Briarwood (boys)
at Shelby County High School
4:30 p.m. – Shelby Co. vs Briarwood (girls)
6 p.m. – Pelham vs Calera (boys)
7:30 p.m. – Shelby Co. vs Vincent-Westminster winnger (boys)
at Calera High School
6 p.m. – Thompson vs Pelham-Vincent winner (girls)
7:30 p.m. – Calera vs Montevallo (girls)
