The Thompson Warriors continued a run of victories with a 75-59 victory over Wetumpka in their Class 6A, Area 7 opener Dec. 6.

The Warriors (9-1, 1-0) outscored Wetumpka (1-3) 24-15 in the third quarter.

Marcus Lewis led Thompson with 22 points. Rashad Strother added 16 points and DeAndre Gamble scored 12 points. Duke Thomas finished with 10 points.

Terrance Leflore led all scorers with 32 points for Wetumpka.
