FROM STAFF REPORTS
CALERA – The Church at Shelby Crossings will celebrate the birth of Christ with its fourth annual Christmas Celebration on Sunday, Dec. 9 at 6 p.m.
The evening will feature a “variety show” type of program, including special music of the season by the preschool Angel Choir, the W3 Kids, youth praise band, worship team and others from the church family, including Shelby Crossings’ worship pastor, Robert Hope.
“We find ourselves looking forward to this night all year long,” Pastor Ken Letson wrote in a press release. “It’s a fun, low-pressure and yet inspiring celebration of the simple message of Christmas, and a time to come in out of the craziness of the season to enjoy the ‘peace on earth’ that Jesus came to bring. We’d love to invite our community to come and share in this joyous time with our faith family.”
A special holiday fellowship time will follow the program, with church members sharing their favorite Christmas goodies. The church is located at 532 George Roy Parkway in Calera. For more information or directions, call the church office at 690-8260 or visit Shelbycrossings.com.
