RIVERCHASE — A Riverchase church has canceled its holiday market, originally set for this weekend.
Riverchase Community Church canceled the market because the city of Hoover requires vendors to buy a license for the one day they participate in the holiday market, according to event organizer Roxanne Wilke.
“Most of our vendors cannot afford to pay this fee, therefore a large percentage of our vendors have had to drop out of the show,” she said in an email. “Because of this, we have canceled Holiday Market.”
The event was set for Nov. 17 from 9 a.m.-4 p.m.
