OAKVILLE – Indian Springs’ senior Victoria Saenz led her team to a sixth place finish at the 2012 AHSAA Cross Country Championships on Nov. 10.

Saenz took seventh in the Class 3A girls race with a time of 20:16.34 as the only Indian Springs runner in the top-10.

Hill Balliet led the Indian Springs boys’ runners with a 41 place finish with a time of 18:58.28. Majd Habash took 44th with a time of 19:02.69.

In Class 4A, Caleb Crowe led Calera runners with a 63rd place finish with a time of 19:28.87. Preston Waid finished 72nd with a time of 19:47.76.

Samantha King led the Lady Eagles’ runners with a 75th place finish in a time of 24:39.43.
