Regions names Keller Shelby County city president

COLUMBIANA — Regions Bank has named Bill Keller as its city president for Shelby County.
Since 2010, he had served as a community banking sales manager, leading Shelby County’s community banking team. He has been with the company for 15 years.
Keller began his career with AmSouth Bank as a commercial relationship manager in the Tuscaloosa market and later moved to Huntsville to serve in the same capacity. In 2003, he led the commercial and industrial team for the Tri-cities area in Johnson City, Tenn., and was later promoted to city president in that area. Keller returned to Alabama in 2007 and was named senior credit officer for the commercial and industrial and middle market teams in North Central Alabama.
“Bill provides the management presence and leadership necessary to continue our growth and expand our tradition of community leadership, excellent customer service, and sound banking in Shelby County. He is an accomplished banker and had been recognized for his talent and commitment to serving customers in both business and the community,” said Bill Horton, Regions area president in North Central Alabama. ”Shelby County is a strong market for us, and Bill is an asset to our Shelby County banking team.”
Keller holds a bachelor’s degree in economics from Centre College in Danville, Ky. He is involved in the local community and has served as a board member for the Greater Shelby County Chamber of Commerce. He also served as the 2011 chair for the Shelby County United Way campaign and is a part of the 2011-2012 Leadership Shelby County class.
