MONTEVALLO – The Montevallo Main Street Players will stage “Over the River and Through the Woods” by Joe DiPietro Oct. 18-20 at 7:30 p.m. and Oct. 21 at 2 p.m. in the Parnell Memorial Library Theater.

The cast includes Jennifer Lee and Anne Blair of Montevallo, Joseph Wesolowski of Prattville, Mary-Kate McLaurine of Tuscaloosa, James Powers of Hazel Green and Nick Stokes of Mobile. Frank C. Deming II will direct.

The comedy’s action revolves around Nick Cristano and his four grandparents. When Nick breaks the news that he has been offered his dream job out of state, his grandparents invite an attractive young woman to Sunday dinner in an attempt to keep Nick close to them.
