CLANTON-Briarwood Christian lost a heartbreaker in overtime to Chilton County High School 27-21 on Oct. 12 at Chilton County. Briarwood led 21-7 entering the fourth quarter, but Chilton County rallied, scoring two fourth-quarter touchdowns, to tie the game at 21.   The Lions were unable to score in overtime and Chilton County escaped with the win.

The Lions were led by sophomore quarterback Chandler Wilkins, who was 15-of-32 passing for 110 yards and a touchdown, but also had three interceptions. Senior receiver Daniel Robert added six receptions for 49 yards for the Lions.
