ALABASTER – The Thompson High School volleyball team honored their four seniors with a 25-17, 25-20, 25-15 sweep of Calera on Oct. 8.

The Lady Warriors recognized seniors Katie Guiser, Keiana Miller, Sarah Allen and Maria Falkner during senior night festivities.

Bivins led Thompson with 10 kills and three digs with Guiser adding five kills with 10 digs and three blocks. Taylin McCarver finished with four kills, four blocks, and two digs.

Tara Miller had 13 assists and nine digs while August Newberry led the defense with 17 digs.

Caitlin Ryan led Calera with nine kills and two blocks.
