An Alabama Department of Transportation public involvement meeting regarding U.S. 280 improvements, originally reported to be happening Oct. 25, has not been confirmed for that date.

The meeting, which will focus on U.S. 280 intersection improvements and access management from Hollywood Boulevard to Doug Baker Boulevard at Lee Branch, was originally reported to be from 4-7 p.m. at the Cahaba Grand Conference Center.

The meeting date and time have not been officially set yet, according to Lance Taylor, an assistant division engineer at ALDOT.

The Shelby County Reporter will give details on the meeting as soon as they are confirmed.
