The Vincent High School volleyball team swept past Fultondale in straight sets (25-17, 25-18, 25-16) on the road for their first victory of the season.

Sophomore Ashleigh McCloud led Vincent (1-8, 1-1 in Class 2A, Area 10) with eight aces. Birana DiGiorgio added four aces with five assists.

Senior Bernadette Stamps tallied a team-high three kills with an ace.
