WILSONVILLE – State Sen. Slade Blackwell, R-Mountain Brook, will host the first in a series of community meetings on Tuesday, Sept. 11 at 6 p.m. at Wilsonville City Hall.

Senator Blackwell will give a legislative update on the 2012 session, as well as discuss issues affecting District 15.

“I am excited about starting the town hall series again,” Blackwell said in a press release. “There is a lot going on right now in the state and country, and I hope this provides an outlet for citizens to discuss the issues that are important to them.”
