Briarwood loses two straight

SYLACAUGA-Sylacauga High School scored a go head touchdown in the fourth quarter and held on 24-20 to knock Briarwood Christian to an 0-2 record on Sept. 7 at Sylacauga High School.
Briarwood could not stop Sylacauga’s rushing attack that racked up 303 rushing yards on 62 attempts. Sylacauga finished with 363 totals yards compared to only 231 yards by Briarwood.
Chandler Wilkins led the Lions with 16-of-30 passing for 134 yards and three touchdowns and an interception. Senior running back Regan White added 48 yards on 10 attempts.
