Wheeler-Brechin

Lachelle Wheeler and Erik Brechin were married on Aug. 25, 2012, at Hargis Christian Retreat in Chelsea.

Lachelle is the daughter of Paula Wheeler of Columbiana and Joe Wheeler of Wilsonville. Her grandparents are Sonny and Mary Payne of Columbiana, Jack Wheeler and the late Tyla Wheeler of Wilsonville. Erik is the son of Kenny and Ellen Brechin of Columbiana. His grandparents are Dorothy Brechin, the late David Brechin and the late Olen and Ethel Jackson, all of Columbiana.

The bride was attended by maid-of-honor, Jennifer Sims, and bridesmaids, Kym Brechin, Courtney Herron, Alicia Hendren, Tina Gregg and Amber Barron. Best-man was the groom’s father, Kenny Brechin. Other groomsmen were Justin Wheeler, Donnie Brechin, Doc Smith, Leonard Bailey and Stephen Parks.

The newlyweds forewent their honeymoon to house Hurricane Isaac evacuees.
