Building her vision

Greystone resident Alicia Huey has more than 12 years of experience in the home building industry — more than a decade’s worth of interpreting clients’ needs and wants to fashion their dream homes.
Earlier this year, she was named the 2012 Professional Women in Building Council chair. She is also the chair of Greater Birmingham Habitat for Humanity. Alicia became involved in home building because of her volunteer work for Habitat for Humanity.
However, all that experience and expertise didn’t make it any easier eight years ago when Alicia had to set out to conquer her most daunting project: A home where she and husband Don could enjoy the rest of their lives together.
