Kingwood Christian wins in volleyball

Kingwood Christian defeated Coosa Valley Academy in three sets (25-8,25-7,25-17) on Thursday, Aug. 23.

The Lions were led by Casey Whitmer with seven kills and two aces and Madelyn Pearce with four kills. Sloane Pickett led Kingwood in aces with eight and Blair Holsombeck added six aces and seven assists. Katie Allen Etheridge also had two kills and two aces for the Lions.
