Greystone Golf and Country Club golf pro Steve Smith has many interesting tales to tell from his nearly four-decade long career as a golf professional.

Perhaps the most interesting story involved a little boy from New Orleans who showed up at one of his junior camps while he served as a golf pro at New Orleans Country Club.

Smith didn’t know it at the time, but the student registered as Eli Manning soaking up his instruction out on the course would eventually become a Super Bowl Championship MVP for the National Football League’s New York Giants.
