The Pelham High School softball team defeated Oak Mountain 6-0 in an Alabama High School Athletic Association Class 6A, Area 10 contest April 24.

Whitney Gillespie led the Panthers offensively as she finished 3-for-5 at the plate with a triple. Gillespie drove in five runs in the victory.

Mary Morgan Dramer went 3-for-4 at the plate and scored three runs. Emily Spain finished 2-for-3 at the plate and scored two runs.

Erin Whitman went 1-for-4 at the plate and drove in one run. Reagan Curtis finished 1-for-3 at the plate.

Becky Fox earned the win in the circle after giving up just four hits with one strikeout in three innings. Gillespie picked up a save after allowing just two hits with four strikeouts and one walk in four innings.

Kailey Boone led Oak Mountain offensively as she finished 2-for-3 at the plate.

Caroline Seitz went 1-for-2 at the plate.

Chloe Yeager took the loss in the circle after giving up four earned runs on seven hits with three strikeouts and two walks in five innings.

Katherine Kimble allowed two earned runs on three hits with two strikeouts in two innings in relief.
