Donna Jean Overton, age 59, of Maylene passed away Wednesday, April 18, 2012 at her home.

She was a member of Oak Mountain Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by her parents, H.A. and Margaret Fortenberry, and sister, Kathy Whitley.

She is survived by her son, Brad C. Overton of Maylene; brother, Ronnie Motes (Barbara) of Muscle Shoals; sister, Peggy Gilley (J.D.) of Russellville; and grandchildren, Rheagan Overton and Dylan Overton.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, April 21, 2012 at 2 p.m. at Rockco Funeral Home Montevallo with Bro. Doug Foster and Bro. Gene Grater officiating. Visitation will be held two hours prior to the service. Burial will follow at Oak Mountain Baptist Church Cemetery. Pallbearers will include Brad Overton, Louis Middlebrooks, Trey Middlebrooks, James Helms and Ken Huffstutler.
