The Pelham High School softball team defeated Brookwood 16-2 in high school softball action April 18.

Mary Morgan Dramer led the Panthers offensively as she finished 4-for-4 at the plate. Dramer scored three runs and finished with two stolen bases in the victory.

Madi Walker, who drove in one run and scored two runs, finished 2-for-2 at the plate. Becky Fox went 2-for-2 at the plate with a double and drove in two runs.

Whitney Gillespie finished 1-for-1 at the plate with a homer and drove in four runs. Reagan Curtis, who drove in two runs and scored two runs, went 1-for-1 at the plate with a homer. Alicia Richardson finished 1-for-3 at the plate and scored one run. Erin Whitman added a double and scored three runs. Emily Spain scored one run.

Gillespie earned the win in the circle after giving up just one hit with three strikeouts in three innings.

Fox allowed two runs on four hits with two strikeouts in two innings in relief.
