The Calera High School softball team fell to Oak Grove 8-2 in an Alabama High School Athletic Association Class 4A, Area 8 contest April 16.

Shelby Clark, Skyler Laird, Jocelyn Davis and Samantha Smith led the Eagles with two hits each.

Kymber McGiboney and Shelby Wright added one hit each. Davis drove in one run.

Katie Eiland took the loss in the circle after giving up eight runs on 13 hits with one strikeout and one walk in a complete game.
