The Vincent High School softball team defeated Holy Family in a high school softball doubleheader April 12.

The Yellow Jackets won the opener 17-0.

Destanie Howard led Vincent offensively as she finished 3-for-3 at the plate with a pair of homers. Howard drove in three runs and scored two runs in the victory.

Tori Cato finished 3-for-3 at the plate with a triple. Courtney Barber went 3-for-3 at the plate with a double and drove in three runs.

Courtney Holston earned the win in the circle after giving up just four hits with five strikeouts in a three-inning complete-game victory.

Vincent defeated Holy Family 20-2 in the nightcap.

Morgan O’Steen led the Yellow Jackets offensively as she finished 3-for-4 at the plate with a double. O’Steen drove in one run in the victory.

Barber earned the win in the circle after giving up two unearned runs on two hits with five strikeouts in a three-inning complete-game victory.
