Sweet, hopeful and with just a hint of mischief…Smokey Joe and Joseph from Shelby Humane Society are ready to charm you this week!

Smokey Joe is a handsome 6-month-old terrier mix. This boy is smart enough to know how to push your buttons, and clever enough to convince you with one flash of his great big smile that it wasn’t him. With a little love and some basic obedience training his super smart powers can be used for good — like fetching your slippers at the end of a long day!

Joseph is a 2-year-old orange tabby cat with white socks and stunning, deep orange stripes. He wants a sunny window to snooze in, a good meal to fill him up and lots of belly rubs. He will actually pull your hand close to make sure he gets the attention he wants. He certainly has a curious side within him, and he knows he will win your heart in each of his nine lives, so he plans to live it up.
