The Thompson High School girls’ tennis team defeated Oak Mountain 7-2 in high school tennis action April 4.

Laura Harwell of Thompson defeated Jessica Amaro of Oak Mountain 8-6 in the No. 1 singles’ match. Erin Hutter of Thompson defeated Samantha Fredrick of Oak Mountain 8-4 in the No. 2 singles’ match.

Victoria Killingsworth of Thompson defeated Mary Catherine Touliatos of Oak Mountain 8-4 in the No. 3 singles’ match. Maria Siow of Thompson defeated Anna Manning of Oak Mountain 8-2 in the No. 4 singles’ match.

Olivia Sorrell of Thompson defeated Laurel Reeves of Oak Mountain 8-3 in the No. 5 singles’ match. Eunyoung Jo of Oak Mountain defeated Anna Conn of Thompson 8-1 in the No. 6 singles’ match.

Amaro and Fredrick defeated Hutter and Siow 8-6 in the No. 1 doubles’ match. Harwell and Killingsworth defeated Touliatos and Manning 8-0 in the No. 2 doubles’ match.

Conn and Sorrell defeated Reeves and Jo 8-5 in the No. 3 doubles’ match.
