The Chelsea High School girls’ tennis team edged Sylacauga 5-4 in high school tennis action April 2.
Kaylee Dismuke of Chelsea fell to Raylee Usray of Sylacauga 8-3 in the No. 1 singles’ match. Natalie Foster of Chelsea defeated Hayden Stewart of Sylacauga 8-4 in the No. 2 singles’ match.
Shannon Reilly of Chelsea defeated Brandy Comer of Sylacauga 8-6 in the No. 3 singles’ match. Kelsey Efferson of Chelsea fell to Madge Ellis of Sylacauga 8-4 in the No. 4 singles’ match.
Natalie Lorimer of Chelsea defeated Catherine McContha of Sylacauga 8-2 in the No. 5 singles’ match. Molly Burchell of Chelsea fell to Nicole Compher of Sylacauga 8-2 in the No. 6 singles’ match.
Dismuke and Foster defeated Usrey and Comer 8-5 in the No. 1 doubles’ match. Reilly and Lorimer defeated Stewart and Compher 8-5 in the No. 2 doubles’ match.
Efferson and Burchell fell to McContha and Ellis 8-6 in the No. 3 doubles’ match.

Sawyer Skipper of Chelsea fell to Nate Killough of Sylacauga 8-4 in the No. 1 singles’ match. Alex Gamble of Chelsea fell to Will Killough of Sylacauga 8-3 in the No. 2 singles’ match.
Eric Nguyen of Chelsea fell to Collin Minor of Sylacauga 8-1 in the No. 3 singles’ match. Sam Moore of Chelsea fell to Cary Kimber of Sylacauga 8-0 in the No. 4 singles’ match.
Zach Haworth of Chelsea fell to Paul Morris of Sylacauga 8-1 in the No. 5 singles’ match. Darian Golden of Chelsea fell to Kody Woods of Sylacauga 8-1 in the No. 6 singles’ match.
