The Oak Mountain High School softball team defeated Gardendale 11-1 in the Vestavia Hills tournament March 31 at Liberty Park.

Caroline Seitz led the Eagles offensively as she finished 2-for-5 at the plate with a homer. Seitz drove in three runs and scored three runs in the victory.

Leah Reeve finished 1-for-4 at the plate with a homer and drove in four runs. Maddie Ridgway went 3-for-6 at the plate.

Anne Thomaston earned the win after giving up just one earned run on four hits with two strikeouts in a complete-game victory.
