The Oak Mountain High School softball team fell to Hoover 4-3 in an Alabama High School Athletic Association Class 6A, Area 10 contest March 29.

Maddie Ridgeway led the Eagles as she finished 2-for-4 at the plate. Ridgeway drove in one run and scored one run.

Caroline Seitz finished 1-for-3 at the plate and drove in two runs.

Leah Reeve took the loss in the circle after giving up four runs, including three earned runs, on nine hits with three strikeouts in a complete game.
