Charles Pilleteri and his family have made Mr. P’s Deli a local legend in the Bluff Park area.

For more than 35 years, the restaurant’s homemade sandwiches and sides — along with the well-stocked meat market — have lured Hoover residents’ taste buds back again and again. Recently, Pilleteri shared his secrets — and one of his fabulous recipes.
