The Calera High School baseball team fell to John Carroll Catholic 11-1 in high school baseball action March 29.

J.R. Seay led the Eagles as he finished 3-for-3 at the plate and drove in one run.

Zack Reneau took the loss after giving up four runs, including three earned runs, on two hits with three walks in 1/3 of an inning.

De’Andre Shanks gave up five runs, including two earned runs, on five hits with one strikeout and one walk in 3 2/3 innings in relief.
