The Briarwood Christian School softball team defeated Tarrant 10-0 in high school softball action March 29.

Rachel Walz led the Lions as she finished 3-for-4 at the plate. Walz drove in two runs and scored two runs.

Morgan Reed went 2-for-4 at the plate with a double and scored two runs.

Ashlyn Boyd, Madison Chambers and Kaitlyn Woods scored two runs each.

Reed and Amelia Moore combined to pitch a no-hitter.

Reed earned the win in the circle after striking out eight batters in three innings. Moore recorded three strikeouts in two innings in relief.
