The Vincent High School baseball team defeated Fultondale 9-4 in an Alabama High School Athletic Association Class 2A, Area 10 contest March 27.

Chase Howard led the Yellow Jackets at the plate as he finished 2-for-4 with a homer. Howard drove in three runs and scored one run in the victory.

Daniel Hawkins, who drove in two runs and scored one run, went 2-for-4 at the plate with a double. Michael Gilham finished 2-for-3 at the plate with a double and scored one run. Zac Baucom, who drove in one run and scored one run, finished 1-for-4 at the plate.

D.J. Brasher earned the win on the mound after giving up two earned runs on eight hits with five strikeouts and two walks in a complete-game victory.
