The Thompson High School softball team defeated Hewitt-Trussville 5-0 in high school softball action March 27.

Ashleigh Short led the Warriors offensively as she finished 2-for-3 at the plate and scored one run.

Rebecca Victory finished 1-for-3 at the plate with a double and drove in one run.

Rachel Rigney earned the win in the circle after giving up just three hits and recording four strikeouts and one walk in a complete-game victory.
