The Oak Mountain High School girls’ tennis team fell to Hoover 8-1 in high school tennis action March 27.

Ria Bennett of Hoover defeated Jessica Amaro of Oak Mountain 8-1 in the No. 1 singles’ match. Courtney Schrock of Hoover defeated Samantha Fredrick of Oak Mountain 8-2 in the No. 2 singles’ match.

Hallie Lee of Hoover defeated Mary Catherine Touliatos of Oak Mountain 8-4 in the No. 3 singles’ match. Madison Bamman of Hoover defeated Anna Manning of Oak Mountain 8-3 in the No. 4 singles’ match.

Ellie Lushington of Hoover defeated Laurel Reeves of Oak Mountain 8-5 in the No. 5 singles’ match. Julianna Dinsmore of Hoover defeated Eunyoung Jo of Oak Mountain 8-5 in the No. 6 singles’ match.

Amaro and Fredrick defeated Bennett and Bamman 8-5 in the No. 1 doubles’ match. Schrock and Lee defeated Touliatos and Manning 8-3 in the No. 2 doubles’ match.

Lushington and Dinsmore defeated Reeves and Jo 8-5 in the No. 3 doubles’ match.
