RhuShunda Neko Stoudmire was born in Birmingham, Alabama on September 5, 1986 to Deloris Stoudmire and the late Rev. Lewis Stoudmire and took her flight home on Friday, March 16, 2012.

Neko graduated from Stillman College with a B.S. Degree in Business Administration and was a member of the Psi Xi Omega Chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority Incorporated.

Neko will forever be remembered by her devoted mother Deloris Stoudmire, brother Louie (Netausha) Stoudmire of Athens; sisters Shannon Stoudmire and TiaLeigh Stoudimire, both of Alabaster; grandfather Willie (Rochelle) Maryland of Montgomery; grandmother Yoshiko Stoudmire of Birmingham; deceased grandmother Jannie Maryland; deceased grandfather Thomas Stoudmire; a devoted, loving boyfriend Michael Lee Gilbert Jr. and a host of uncles, aunts, cousins and friends.

Visitation services will be at The Good Shepherd Funeral Home in Montevallo from 1-6 p.m. Friday, March 23.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, March 24 at 11 a.m. at New Vision Christian Church, 2383 County Road 95 in Helena. Burial will follow at Montevallo Cemetery.
