The Pelham High School softball team defeated Clay-Chalkville 13-0 in high school softball action March 8.

Mary Morgan Dramer led the Panthers as she went 3-for-4 at the plate. Dramer drove in one run and scored three runs in the victory.

Caitlyn Sapp, who drove in four runs and scored one, went 2-for-3 at the plate. Alicia Richardson went 2-for-3 at the plate with a pair of doubles and scored two runs. Kristen Foster, who drove in two runs and scored three runs, finished 2-for-3 with a double. Becky Fox, who drove in a run and scored a run, went 2-for-3 at the plate. Madi Walker went 2-for-3 and drove in a run.

Whitney Gillespie, who drove in a run and scored a run, finished 1-for-2 at the plate with a double. Erin Whitman, who drove in a run and scored a run, finished 1-for-3 at the plate. Lindsey Pyle went 1-for-3 at the plate and scored a run.

Fox earned the win in the circle after giving up just two hits with seven strikeouts in four innings. Gillespie struck out all three batters she faced in one inning in relief.
