The Kingwood Christian School softball team defeated Tuscaloosa Academy 9-2 in high school softball action March 8.

Kendall Jonseof led the Lions as she finished 2-for-3 at the plate. Jonseof drove in two runs and scored two runs in the victory.

Caroline Clark, who drove in one run and scored one run, finished 2-for-4 at the plate with a double. Kaylyn Ingram, who drove in one run and scored one run, finished 1-for-3 at the plate.

Ingram earned the win in the circle after giving up two earned runs on eight hits with eight strikeouts in a complete-game victory.
