The Kingwood Christian School softball team defeated Cornerstone Christian 10-7 in high school softball action March 5.

Madeline Lee and Karley Chamblee led the Lions after each homered in the victory. Lee and Chamblee each finished 2-for-4 at the plate and scored two runs.

Caroline Clark, who scored one run, finished 2-for-4 at the plate with a triple and a double.

Lee earned the win in the circle after giving up seven earned runs on 10 hits with seven strikeouts and four walks in a complete-game victory.

Jana Armstrong took the loss for the Chargers after giving up nine earned runs on seven hits with four strikeouts and three walks in four innings.

Destiny Dillard allowed one earned run on two hits in three innings in relief.
