COLUMBIANA-The Shelby County School of Technology Fashion Show has been rescheduled due to the threat of inclement weather.
“They’re looking at hopefully next weekend, but what it really relies on is the auditorium being available. ” said Jennifer Nesbitt, fashion show coordinator and director of business development at the Harpersville Medical Clinic.
The fashion show has tentatively been rescheduled for March 9 at the Shelby County High School at 7 p.m., according to Dora Montgomery, instructor at the Business and Finance Academy and the Future Business Leaders of America sponsor at the School of Technology.
“I’m not upset about it, she said. “You can’t control the weather, everything happens for a reason. It didn’t get me down.”
Montgomery said the rescheduling will allow some students to be a part of the fashion show that couldn’t before, due to schedule conflicts.
