The Oak Mountain High School softball team defeated Hillcrest-Tuscaloosa 6-4 in extra innings in high school softball action March 1.

Caroline Seitz led the Eagles as she went 3-for-5 at the plate with two doubles. Seitz drove in one run and scored two runs.

Maddie Ridgeway finished 2-for-4 at the plate.

Anne Thomaston earned the win after giving up four earned runs, including two earned runs, on 12 hits with three strikeouts and three walks in nine innings in a complete-game victory.
